Many parents of kids who need insulin have to caution their children from a young age to make life decisions based on affording their insulin including choosing their careers due to insurance coverage.

To keep advocating for others, I need to afford my medications. But with prices so high, there are no guarantees I’ll be able to afford the medicine I need to live.
