“I am a retired nurse on Medicare. I have been prescribed Restasis for sometime now, and it is hard that there is no less expensive generic. I do not take the full dose because it is so expensive. At the full dose, I would expect to pay more than $1,400 a year out of pocket. It’s wrong that the company that makes this drug—Allergan—is blocking a cheaper generic.”
