Patients For Affordable Drugs has launched our new campaign tool: FightPharma.org. This website will serve as a dedicated platform for our ongoing campaign US vs. Pharma; Fighting to Protect Medicare Negotiation, aimed at leveraging patient stories, including via Amicus Briefs, to counter Big Pharma’s legal efforts to stop the implementation of Medicare negotiation.
By amplifying patient stories with high drug prices, we will ensure that it’s not just the perspectives of drug companies or the government that the courts will hear — but of the real people affected by high drug costs.
FightPharma.org will be continuously updated with information about the status of the cases, providing valuable insights into the legal battles shaping the future of drug pricing. Additionally, the site will offer opportunities for advocates to take action, starting with a petition that builds on the work we began in the summer urging the CEOs of the corporations who have filed lawsuits to withdraw their costly and irresponsible lawsuits.
We hope the website will serve as a resource in our efforts to lower drug prices! In the coming weeks, this website will also be launched in Spanish, as part of P4AD’s expanded bilingual efforts to make our resources more accessible to diverse patient communities.
