Prices must come down.

My name is Sue Kenney. I am a single mother of two wonderful boys and nurse from Atlanta, Georgia.

As a nurse, I have seen first hand the outrageous pricing and felt the same feelings of despair as many of my patients. I have been on a GlaxoSmithKline drug called Paxil since my early twenties. This is a drug that I absolutely need to manage my depression and anxiety. I am super thankful for this drug, but personally it can be difficult to afford. High drug costs can have a large impact on families trying to budget. For a single mom, it’s challenging know that the $80-$130 I spend monthly on the drug could go very far for my children.

Drug prices must come down. Fortunately I am able to get access to my medication, but too many people who depend on these drugs for their day to day stability can not.  It disgusts me that patients have to put up with this behavior from Big Pharma.
